Police: A63 crash in Hambleton, near Selby, on December 23
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision on the A63 that took place last month.
As reported by The Press at the time, the crash took place at around 4pm on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 and involved three vehicles, including a HGV, with emergency vehicles and the air ambulance spotted at the scene.

“The driver of the tanker sustained minor injuries, and the driver of the Nissan sustained some fractures – they were taken to hospital by ambulance and have been discharged following treatment.
“The road was closed for three hours while we investigated the scene, and to allow the vehicles involved to be recovered,” said a spokesperson for the force.
Police say they are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
