Police investigation after burglary at The Wheatsheaf Pub

The incident happened at The Wheatsheaf Hotel on Moor Lane in Sherburn in Elmet on Sunday (December 14), between 10.30pm and 10.45pm.

A force spokesperson said: “A number of brass ornaments were stolen by unknown offenders.

“In particular, we are appealing for information about a man who was seen in the area at the time, along with sightings of a suspicious small white car.

“We are also interested in any CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist our investigation in the surrounding area on Moor Lane.”
