Police issue update after 2 car crash in Over Hulton

The crash happened on the A6 in Over Hulton at 10.30am.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene.

Traffic was able to pass the scene slowly.

This evening officers issued an update .

Bolton police stop cars and vans stopped in scrap and waste operation

A spokesman for GMP Bolton said: “Update in relation to an road traffic collision that occurred in Over Hulton at approximately 10.30 on Thursday 4th December 2025.

“There were no serious injuries, one party was taken to hospital as a precaution and one driver was issued with a traffic offence report for the offence of driving without due care and attention.”

Police are currently conducting Operation Classify on the roads of Bolton to crackdown on bad driving.

This includes carrying out roadside checks across Bolton.

Currently emergency services are dealing with a serious road traffic incident in Rochdale, on the corner of Bolton Road and Eskdale Avenue.
