Police issue urgent appeal to trace woman after Loftus altercation

The incident is understood to have taken place at about 9.35pm on Saturday, December 13, in the area of Duncan Place in Loftus, where a woman is believed to have been involved in an altercation with a man.

It is understood they both then left the scene in a red Citroen C2, with a registration beginning BG59. The vehicle is also reported to have a broken rear light.

Officers say they are keen to trace the woman to check on her welfare and ensure that she is safe and well.

The woman is described as being in her mid-30s, tall, slim, and with blonde hair.

A spokesperson said: “Anyone who may know the identity of the woman, witnessed the incident, or recognises the vehicle is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 238146.”
