The ICE agent is heard screaming ‘f***ing b**ch’ after shooting the mother of three
Renee Good appears to turn her steering wheel to drive around an ICE agent, telling him “I’m not mad at you”, before being fatally shot in the face, video footage shows.
The law enforcement officer called the mother of three a “f***ing b**ch” after unloading multiple shots through her driver-side window on Wednesday (January 7). Footage, released by online news site Alpha News, provides the moments leading up to Renee’s death from the perspective of the shooting ICE agent.
Renee, who had recently moved to Minneapolis, is seen smiling and telling the agent, “I’m not mad at you,” as her car partially blocks the road. The officer had exited his vehicle to capture her face and licence plate on video, reports the Mirror.
That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you,” she tells him as he circles her car while another person, thought to be Ms Good’s partner, is seen approaching the officer, filming him on her phone.
“We don’t change our plates every morning,” the second woman says to the officer, referring to ICE’s controversial clandestine tactics to avoid being identified by the public.
She adds: “They’ll still be the same plates when you come talk to us later. That’s fine. US citizen and former f***ing veteran. Former Navy veteran, you want to come at us?”
Ms Good is shown reversing to allow cars to pass by as he walks around the car the first time. The person outside the car then says: “I say you go get yourselves some lunch, big boy.”
By now, other officers have approached the car from the far side, demanding Ms Good “get out of the car. Get out of the f***ing car.”
From here, Ms Good can clearly be seen turning her steering wheel to the right to drive her car around the officer filming, now in front of the vehicle. Then, the camera is pointed away as the officer makes a “whoa” sound.
Then three shots are heard as her car speeds towards parked cars, the officer is heard saying: “F***ing b**ch.”
Online news site Alpha News published the video, which many claim contradicts various statements made by both Donald Trump and White House officials, providing context to the events.
From the footage, it appears Ms Good was parked across the road to impede the work of ICE agents, but at no point is she or the other person aggressive toward them, despite being labelled a “domestic terrorist” by the Trump administration in the wake of her death.
The video also shows Ms Good was not deliberately trying to run the officer over, instead attempting to steer around him.
Within minutes of the footage being published, US Vice President JD Vance claimed it backed up his claim that she was deliberately trying to injure the officer when he shot her.
He wrote: “What the press has done in lying about this innocent law enforcement officer is disgusting. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.”
