Samsung is back with a brand new vacuum cleaner that can also monitor your home.
Samsung is launching a clever new vacuum, and it doesn’t just bust the dust around your home. The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra is a robot cleaner that automatically pops out from its charging dock and whizzes around the floors. However, along with sucking up muck and grime, it can also mop up liquids such as coffee, juice and water, making it a one-stop shop for cleaning up.
To ensure it performs well, this device features an Active Stereo 3D Sensor, which helps it spot and remove messes on the floors.
There’s also a camera inside, which not only helps with navigation and avoiding obstacles, but also turns this robot vacuum into a digital guard dog with it able to monitor homes when you’ve headed out for the day.
It even offers notifications about pets and whether there is any suspicious activity taking place.
Another nice update is smarter Bixby. This lets you speak more conversationally to the robot vacuum to carry out tasks such as cleaning up spills and dirt.
“The newly launching Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra comes with advanced recognition technologies designed to reduce human intervention and simplify cleaning like never before,” Samsung explained.
“Powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, it offers deep learning-based AI Object Recognition to better detect humans, cats and dogs, as well as hard-to-see obstacles like cables or rugs.
“This model also supports AI Liquid Recognition, allowing it to detect liquid spills and determine whether to clean or avoid them based on the user’s set preference.”
There’s no word on a price just yet, but watch this space.
