Scarborough: Vandals spray graffiti on public shelters

North Yorkshire Police said it happened around 7.50pm in Esplanade Gardens, Scarborough, on Sunday, November 23.

Launching an appeal for information about the criminal damage, a force spokesperson said it was particularly interested in hearing from the public with any information about three men dressed in black with skateboards.

The spokesperson said: “Please email james.moody@northyorkshire.police.uk if you have any information that could help our investigation.

“Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for PC James Moody 1199, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.

“Please quote reference 12250221998 when passing on information.”
