Search for missing Peter Jacques in Great Ouseburn area
North Yorkshire Police officers are becoming “increasingly concerned” for Peter Jacques, who is missing from the Great Ouseburn area.
Officers say they are urgently appealing for information and sightings to help locate Peter, 70, who left his home address at 2pm today (Friday, November 21) and has not been seen since.

A police spokesperson said: “As time goes on, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Peter’s welfare. Extensive resource is currently being used to assist with the searches in Great Ouseburn and the surrounding villages.
“This includes the use of the police helicopter (NPAS), police drones and specialist police search officers.
“If you have seen a man matching the photograph of Peter or know where he is, please contact the police without delay.”
Peter is described as approximately 6ft tall, slim build and grey hair. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, black trousers, a black jumper and walking boots.
