Side Street Burgers opens its Bolton restaurant TODAY
Side Street Burgers welcomed visitors from 2pm at its new branch on Chorley Old Road, offering a one-day 50 per cent launch discount on selected menu items.
The promotion kept the shop busy throughout the afternoon, with a steady stream of diners taking advantage of the opening deal and checking out the brand that has already amassed more than 20,000 Instagram followers.
Inside, the atmosphere was lively with balloon arches framing the entrance, music played throughout the restaurant and staff worked at full speed behind the counter.
The brand’s signature yellow-and-black design gave the space a bright, polished feel.
Director Mansoor Mohsin said bringing Side Street Burgers to Bolton had been a long-term ambition.
He said: “We’ve been wanting to run a Side Street in Bolton for about three years now, and it’s finally come to fruition, it feels amazing.
“We want to serve the community our best smash burgers and smokehouse dishes. Today’s been incredible already. It’s going to be a long day, but we’re excited for it.”
He added that the business wants to be more than just another food outlet.
“We’ve done a lot of work with the community.
“We’re looking to sponsor teams, work with schools, get to know people. We want everyone to know who we are and what we do.”
The Bolton branch will be open every day until 11pm.”
Early visitors were quick to share their enthusiasm.
One customer said: “I’ve been wanting A Side Street here for ages, I’m so happy we’ve finally got one, it’s so nice.”
Another, trying the food for the first time, added: “The food is delicious, I will be coming back for sure.”

Founded in 2020 as a small delivery kitchen in Rochdale, Side Street Burgers has expanded across England and Scotland, building a loyal following with its bold flavours and US-style menu.
Dishes on offer in Bolton included, smashed beef burgers, Nashville chicken tenders, Sando chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, OG boxes, sharing platters and more.
While the brand is best known for its smash burgers, Mohsin says the chicken has become a standout favourite.
“Pretty much everything is famous, but the Nashville tender, honestly, they’re known as the best chicken in the North West. People should come and try them.”
Today’s half-price offer was framed as a thank-you to the Bolton community as the chain continues its rapid growth.
