Sky has cut select TV packages back down to Black Friday prices and will pay customers up to £300 if they switch
Sky has kicked off its 2026 January sale by unveiling a fresh batch of deals across its TV and broadband range. This month, shoppers can save hundreds on the brand’s flagship TV, Netflix and fibre broadband bundles, some of which are reduced to their ‘lowest price’ ever.
Among the standout deals is a Sky Stream, Netflix and 500Mbps fibre broadband package, which is back down to Black Friday prices and saves £120. There’s also an opportunity to bag a Sky Glass smart TV for £4.25 per month.
Sky is also dishing out up to £300 to tempt customers into ditching their current provider and rivalling Virgin Media and Plusnet with its fibre broadband discounts. It comes as Virgin’s rival January sale is in full swing, where consumers can find discounts on the brand’s own TV packages that come with Sky access too.
Here’s a selection of our favourite deals in Sky’s winter sale.
Sky Ultimate TV and Full Fibre 500 – £39 (was £44)
Sky Ultimate TV, Netflix & Full Fibre 500

Sky has slashed its Ultimate TV and Full Fibre 500 bundle in its January sale, providing around 140 channels including Sky Atlantic, as well as Netflix, Discovery+ and 500Mbps broadband for their lowest ever price.
Sky’s Ultimate TV and Full Fibre 500 bundle is down to its ‘lowest price’ ever, matching the same deal from Black Friday and saving £120. It’s reduced from £44 to £39 and comes with around 140 channels including Sky Atlantic, plus 500Mbps fibre broadband and free Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions.
All of this is available via Sky Stream, the provider’s new way to watch TV that works over WiFi rather than a satellite dish or aerial. There’s a cheaper option available too, with the Essential TV and Full Fibre 300 bundle coming with around 35 fewer channels and slower broadband for £35.
To tempt customers even more, Sky will pay up to £300 to cover switching fees. Virgin’s rival deal is the £34.99 Entertainment bundle, which comes with more than 200 channels, Netflix and 362Mbps broadband, but no Sky Atlantic.
Just remember that both Sky and Virgin will increase their prices every April, so customers can expect to see their bills rise at least twice during the 24-month minimum term.
Sky Glass Air – £4.25 per month (was £6)
Shoppers looking to bag a cheaper smart TV in the January sales can pick up Sky’s latest model, the Sky Glass Air, for £4.25 per month. This deal is for the 43” model of Sky’s latest device, boasting a 4K HDR Quantum Dot screen and Dolby Audio speaker system.
Sky unveiled the Glass Air in June as a slimmer and more affordable version of the Sky Glass Gen 2, both of which have Sky TV and streaming apps built in. A caveat to the deal is that to get these prices, shoppers need a Sky TV package such as the £15 Essential TV bundle, which comes with around 100 channels and free subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+.
A key thing to note is that the Sky Glass Air comes on a 48-month interest free loan, while Sky’s TV packages run on 24-month contracts. There’s also a £20 upfront cost to get the deal up and running.
For those preferring to buy outright, the Sky Glass Air comes in at £225, while rival models like the 50” Hisense MiniLED QLED Freely TV cost £449 at Amazon.
Get £300 towards switching fees
Sky is paying customers up to £300 if they switch from their current TV or broadband provider. New customers signing up for a TV and broadband package can claim up to £300 to cover any fees incurred by cancelling their existing contract, while those signing up for Sky broadband only can claim up to £200.
Customers can make a claim here after paying their old provider any early termination charges owed, after which the claim can be made by sending the details to Sky. This must be done within 90 days of the Sky package being activated.
Sky says successful claims are usually processed within 14 days of them being made. The company will send an email to confirm this and apply the payment as a credit to the Sky account, essentially giving customers months worth of service for free.
Sky Full Fibre 150 – £26 per month (was £27)
So this may not be the biggest discount we’ve ever seen, but it’s a great value option that works out at roughly 86p per day for 150Mbps fibre broadband. Shoppers needing speedier broadband may want to consider upgrading to the 500Mbps plan for £30 per month (was £31).
Customers can also claim up to £200 to cover any early termination fees from their current provider. Comparing Sky’s deals to rival brands, Plusnet currently offers Full Fibre 145 for £24.99 per month, while Virgin’s M250 Fibre Broadband is £23.99 per month.
However, speeds and availability vary by area, so shoppers should enter their postcode into each brand’s service checker to see what they can get.
