The newly-announced festival will be taking place in Chelmsford, Essex, for the first time with a bumper line-up.
As if the festival calendar wasn’t already stacked enough: State Fayre 2026 has reared its head. The brand new festival, brought to life by Live Nation, will be heading to Chelmsford, Essex, in June 2026 with three days of monumental music entertainment.
And the headliners are show-stoppers. At the top of the bill is Kings of Leon, Neil Young and The Lumineers, all of which will be taking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights’ slots respectively.
These three world-renowned acts are not the only artists performing at the Essex weekender, which is due to take place on June 26-28, 2026, at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex. They’ll be joined by the likes of Kip Moore, Counting Crows, KT Tunstall, The Coral and more.
Tickets for this brand new weekend out will be released this week. There is also one massive presale event happening ahead of the release, though.

The brand new Chelmsford festival has been organised by Live Nation. Speaking out about the new event, the company’s Anna-Sophie Mertens and Alex Simmonds said: “We are thrilled to unveil a brand new camping festival that builds on the phenomenal UK growth in Americana, rock and country over the past few years.
