Musicals took over the Strictly Ballroom on Saturday night
BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans have spotted a hidden message in Balvinder Sopal’s performance during Musicals Week.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke returned to critique the five remaining couples during the 11th week of Strictly Come Dancing 2025, now just five stars competing to secure the elusive glitterball.
During Musicals Week, content creator George Clarke and his professional dancing partner Alexis Clarke performed first as they danced the Argentine Tango to The Point of No Return from Phantom of the Opera, receiving a score of 35 from the judges.
Eastenders star Balvinder and her partner Julian Caillon danced the Viennese Waltz to The Greatest Showman’s Never Enough, which fans believe had a message for Strictly viewers across the country.
Balvinder and Julian have landed in the bottom two and been forced to “dance off” five times so far this series, being saved from the judges every time.
Over on X, formerly Twitter, @mariahscracker said: “Balvinder doing the dance to ‘Never Enough’ after she’s placed on the bottom so many times and the public haven’t been behind her. I hope the public get the message that Balvinder has brought during this song. What an icon.”
@Lgbt_lawyer added: “Balvinder dancing to Never Enough seems very apt. Great job girl!”, and @aoife_s29 agreed: “Balvinder dancing to Never Enough is like a stab to the throat I really hope she does well this week.”
Fans commended the dance by Balvinder, 47, and Julian, 30, who received their highest score of the season so far of 35.
