Disney Plus is set to release The Eras Tour: The Final Show next week
Disney Plus has just unveiled the official trailer for Taylor Swift’s latest concert film, The Eras Tour: The Final Show – and Swifties are absolutely beside themselves with excitement.
Scheduled for release on December 12, the upcoming movie will feature Taylor’s Eras Tour performance in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
It differs from the previous Eras concert film, which is currently available on Disney+, as it includes the complete ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ segment from the record-shattering tour. The cherished album launched in April 2024, whilst Taylor was still touring, with its tracks being incorporated into the setlist soon after, reports the Mirror.

Within the 90-second trailer, supporters can catch glimpses of popular tracks ‘Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?’ and ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart. ‘ The preview also pledges “every new song”, “every new moment” and “everything you’ve waited for”.
The 35-year-old pop sensation is subsequently heard in a voiceover, addressing the audience: “We’ve had so long to prepare for the end of this tour, and we get to play one last show for you here tonight.”
She continues: “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.” Swifties have predictably flocked to social media to express their reactions to the latest trailer. Posting on Reddit, one fan quickly spotted a fan favourite mashup from the tour in the teaser.
Sharing the revelation, they said: “I was indifferent about new trailers/content as I just want the 12th to be here, but after seeing the very end of this trailer I got excited. I knew it was probably gonna happen but this confirms it: We get a high quality version of the Long Live x Manuscript x New Years Day final piano mashup and I can’t wait!”
Another eagerly replied: “Cannot wait! Counting down the days,” while a fourth predicted: “I know I will cry during that final piano mashup, I just know it.” Meanwhile, someone else exclaimed: “So many goosebumps! Crying brb,” with another praising: “The camerawork for this one is even better than the first, I’m so excited.”
Get Disney+ from £5.99

A Disney+ subscription is now available from £5.99 per month, offering hit shows like Andor, The Bear and Alien: Earth, plus countless titles from Star Wars and Marvel.
In addition, an attendee of the show shared: “I was in Vancouver at all three shows,” prompting a response from another user: “I hope you will be able to spot yourself!” As you’d expect from the huge fandom, some Reddit users were quick to share theories about whether songs that were missing from the live show will still be included in the film.
One quipped: “Wait, it said EVERY new song… I know that she didn’t do Florida!!! in Vancouver but MY GOD I need that performance to be recorded somewhere!” Someone replied: “I could be crazy but I’m pretty sure at some point during one or two of the limited Florida!!! performances people saw professional cameras filming too.
“There was a lot of professional filming that happened throughout the second half of the tour and I want to say that happened as well.” And a third Swiftie shared: “I was at Miami N1 and there were signs everywhere saying that the show was being recorded. I too hope for Florida!!! to be included.”
Florida is one of the less popular tunes from the record, featuring English indie band Florence and the Machine. Coinciding with the concert film’s release, Disney+ will also debut the initial two episodes of The End of an Era docuseries, providing a peek into Taylor’s life during the tour.
The synopsis hints: “In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, along with her band, dancers, crew, and family members – offering never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon.”
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show streams exclusively on Disney+ from December 12.
The End of an Era docuseries will also premiere on December 12, with two new episodes dropping weekly.
