Tesco giving away free Christmas trees in stores this weekend
Each one is billed as Perfectly Imperfect, helping to embrace the parts of Christmas that aren’t picture-perfect, but are still just as wonderful. The Christmas trees will be available in select stores on Saturday (December 6).
Customers will have the option to make a donation to Tesco’s food charity partners, Fareshare and Trussell, as part of the giveaway
New research identifies the second week of December as the most popular week for the nation to put up their Christmas tree, while over a quarter (26%) of Brits say that putting up their Christmas tree marks the arrival of the Christmas season.
Tesco is encouraging the nation to embrace the wonderfully imperfect side of the festive season this year by giving away hundreds of Christmas trees.
As part of its “That’s what makes it Christmas” campaign, the retailer will be offering ‘perfectly imperfect’ Christmas trees in select stores.

What makes these Christmas trees Perfectly Imperfect?
From unevenly spaced branches to leaning ever-so-slightly to the side, these wonky Christmas trees wouldn’t normally make the cut to go on sale in Tesco stores, but are perfectly imperfect in their own way.
With Christmas being the time of giving, Tesco is giving these Christmas trees a second chance at fulfilling their Christmas destiny.

When it comes to putting up the Christmas tree, it’s never quite the wholesome experience romanticised in films and social media.
In fact, 87% of people agree that Christmas doesn’t need to be ‘perfect’ to be special, and 74% believe that it is the little imperfect moments that really make it feel like Christmas.
Available for one day only, the wonky Christmas trees are a reminder that the joy of Christmas lies not in perfection, but in togetherness and celebration.
