Bradley Walsh will host The Chase Around the World, a new ITV spin-off launching later this year
The Chase is set to launch a brand new spin-off show with a travel theme, perfect for Race Across The World enthusiasts. Presented by Bradley Walsh, the ITV quiz show has been a staple on our televisions since its debut in 2009.
The upcoming series, titled The Chase Around the World, is slated to premiere later this year and promises contestants an international competition adventure.
Brought to life by the same team behind The Chase, this iteration will feature six pairs of competitors. Their mission? To locate all six of the Chasers, who are currently concealed in secret locations across the globe.
Contestants will need to utilise their general knowledge, intellect, observational prowess, and puzzle-solving skills to achieve their objective. Along the way, they’ll encounter landmarks and culturally significant sites as they hunt down the Chasers, reports the Express.
Simultaneously, the pairs will be tasked with solving riddles and puzzles to uncover clues leading to the quiz masters. However, the last pair to arrive must face off against the Chasers to remain in the competition.
If the contestants succeed, they advance to the next destination; if they falter, it’s time to head home. As the show progresses, the contestants’ advancement will hinge on their intelligence, while incorrect answers could cost them valuable time.
In the end, the final destination holds a life-altering prize, culminating in a high-stakes general knowledge face-off between the remaining contestants and the Chasers.

The Chase Around the World is gearing up for its premiere on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player later this year. This follows hot on the heels of another spin-off, Beat the Chasers, which made its debut in 2020, offering contestants the opportunity to bag even larger prizes.
This prime-time spectacle pits courageous contestants against up to five Chasers. The Chase itself has seen international adaptations in countries including Australia, the United States and Germany, among others.
