Another week of The Masked Singer means more guesses from ITV viewers hoping to figure out which 12 celebrities could be behind the mask.

So far, we’ve watched as The One Show presenter Alex Jones, musician Professor Green and Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon have been unmasked after an audience vote.

With the remaining nine contestants battling it out to be the last star revealed, ITV welcomed a spooktacular occasion as the contestants took on a Halloween-themed week.

To kick off the performances, Can of Worms was the first to take on the stage as they sang their rendition of Ghostbusters for the spooky occasion.

Judge Maya Jama revealed that she believes it could be Naughty Boy behind the mask, meanwhile guest judge Ben Shephard suggested actor Charlie Cooper.

Speaking of Ben, he was a fan-favourite guess for Can of Worms leaving fans confused over the performance as they removed their original guess.

However, now some viewers are convinced that the hidden celebrity is from hit boyband JLS who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2008, finishing as runners-up in the fifth series to Alexandra Burke, mentored by Louis Walsh.

While many believed it could be Marvin Humes thanks to the “green” linking to his merchandise colour from the band’s peak popularity, others think that it’s more likely to be JB Gill.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), @lynneb2000 wrote: “Can of worms, J.B.Gill from jls. Hes a farmer and has a cookery show, Cooking with the Gills”

@clairesnc added: “I think can of worms is JB from JLS” as @michellepryde agreed: “Yeah fully convinced Can of Worms is JB Gill now. He did Celebrity Masterchef and i took that as that last clue they gave pointing to that?”.

@dominiquexscx echoed: “JB Gill for can of worms he has a farm and a show on CBeebies” and @rosie__810 wrote: “I’m saying can of worms is JB Gill and now I’m hearing him again I’m quite sure”.

Viewers may recall that JLS star Aston Merrygold appeared on the ITV series back in 2021 as the Robin, and made it to the final, finishing in third place against Ne-Yo (Badger) and winner Joss Stone (Sausage).
