Here’s how the Wales players rated in the 7-1 demolition of North Macedonia

Wales secured second place in Group J, confirming a home tie in their upcoming World Cup qualifying play-offs, by destroying North Macedonia at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Harry Wilson bagged a hat-trick, while David Brooks, Brennan Johnson, Daniel James, and Nathan Broadhead also found the net in a 7-1 win. You can see who Wales are now likely to play in the play-offs here.Here’s how the players rated on the night.

Karl Darlow 7

Slip briefly let Macedonia back into it. But produced a good save before the break, and largely had little else to do.

Neco Williams 8

So energetic all night. Unlucky not to score in the first half after his effort was tipped onto the post. Subbed.

Didn’t have a lot to do, but was really solid when called upon and made a couple of good contributions.

Searing pace caused all manner of problems. His pass led to the penalty and he deserved his goal. A really good performance. Subbed.

Played his part in maintaining his side’s intensity, particularly in the final third. A solid shift. Subbed.

Great strike for the second. At the heart of the fourth too. Just absolutely everywhere and Macedonia couldn’t live with him. Subbed.
