Slip briefly let Macedonia back into it. But produced a good save before the break, and largely had little else to do.
Neco Williams 8
So energetic all night. Unlucky not to score in the first half after his effort was tipped onto the post. Subbed.
Dylan Lawlor 7
Didn’t have a lot to do, but was really solid when called upon and made a couple of good contributions.
Joe Rodon 7
As above really. Was also a useful outlet on the setpiece. Subbed.
Jay Dasilva 8
Played his part in the second and third goal. A quietly brilliant showing.
Josh Sheehan 8
Mopped up brilliantly in the middle. Broke up attacks and kept Wales moving along.
Harry Wilson (c) 10 – STAR MAN
Captain for the night. A hat-trick, and delightful assist. Also made more tackles than any other player. The sort of night a player dreams of. Simply flawless.
Daniel James 9
Searing pace caused all manner of problems. His pass led to the penalty and he deserved his goal. A really good performance. Subbed.
Liam Cullen 7
Played his part in maintaining his side’s intensity, particularly in the final third. A solid shift. Subbed.
David Brooks 9
Great strike for the second. At the heart of the fourth too. Just absolutely everywhere and Macedonia couldn’t live with him. Subbed.
Brennan Johnson 9
An assist and a stunning goal. The sort of performance Wales fans have been waiting for. Sensational. Subbed.
