The Traitors’ Amanda and Jade reveal incredible secret connection AFTER starring together on show
THE TRAITORS’ Amanda and Jade have revealed an incredible secret connection after starring together on the much loved show.
The show’s incredible final is over – with partners in crime Rachel and Stephen winning the series – but there were still some surprises to come.
Amanda posted a video to Instagram of her and Jade and captioned it: “Wow this is insane! What are the chances ??Sorry about the very dodgy video!
“We couldn’t get anything to work ! But you get the point!”
In the video Amanda revealed: “Back in the 90s way, way, way before (Jade) was born, I was a uniform police officer, and I used to work at Islington police station.
“One of my favourite people to go out on patrol was a guy called Jonathan.
“And Jonathan and I used to go out in our car and on the beat and we’d go and catch criminals in life or death situations… and there’s a bit of a connection.”
She then asked Jade to reveal the connection who explained: “This Jonathan is actually my boyfriend’s dad.”
The pair burst into laughter, and Jade explained she had messaged Amanda after the show since she didn’t know she worked in the Met until after Amanda had been banished at the round table.
As the pair continued to talk and realised they might have a connection – Jade sent over a photograph and Amanda declared “that’s Johnny! My friend.”
Fans rushed to the comments and one wrote: “This is mind blowing! There were so many extra connections on that family tree!”
Another said: “This whole time you could have been allies.”
A third declared: “The world is such a small place in many ways, absolutely incredible.”
While a fourth added: “I love these co incidental connections. I find it so weird that Amanda went for Jade so early on and stuck to it.
“Maybe the intuition was there but she just interpreted that intuition as ‘must be a traitor’. The show was incredible.”
While appearing on the show, the former Met Police Detective Chief Inspector, 57, became convinced her fellow Faithful Jade, 25, was one of the Traitors.
Jade then decided Amanda was a Traitor, and helped banish her because Amanda came for her at nearly every roundtable.
Amanda said on Uncloaked: “Jade was on my radar, but for no reason. She was the first person I saw, and… it could have been anyone sat there, you know.
“She did a couple of odd things. But then when you get to know the person, she seems quite shy.”
