The Traitors fans spot major blunder on Uncloaked spin-off that ‘reveals’ secret Traitor
THE Traitors fans have become convinced they’ve discovered the identity of the Secret Traitor – after a “blunder” on the spin-off show.
Series four introduced the biggest twist in the BBC game yet with Claudia Winkleman announcing to viewers that a secret ‘Red Cloak’ traitor is in the mix this year.
With their identity even hidden from viewers, fans have been desperate to play sleuth and figure out who it is, as they pull strings on the other traitors to guide their hand in who to murder.
However, in spin-off show Uncloaked – an interview show that airs after each episode – a key “clue” could be giving away the answer.
After Saturday night’s episode, Ed Gamble sat down with Celebrity Traitor Cat Burns and series three competitor Charlotte Birman, only four framed photos of this year’s participants are in the background.
And three of them are Hugo, Rachel and Steven – the confirmed Traitors of the series.
The fourth picture on the wall is player Harriett, who as it stands is considered a faithful to the viewers at home.
But is she the secret Traitor playing everyone in the castle?
The move was not missed by eagle-eyed viewers, who jumped at the opportunity to share their latest theory on X (formerly Twitter).
“why are the 3 traitors pictured on the wall…..with Harriet” wrote one.
“Can’t stop thinking about Harriet as the Secret Traitor now,” wrote another. “She could really have played it perfectly getting rid of the fellow barrister and cementing her position as a Faithful to the group so early in the game. She made Hugo her prime target”
“Not them spoiling who the secret traitor is on uncloaked,” noted another.
Fans have been desperate to crack who is behind the Red Cloak – with the next episode set to see the Traitors confront the person behind it.
Currently, it’s been presumed the Secret Traitor is a woman due to the handwriting on the parchment delivered to the main traitors, with many believing Ellie or Jade may be the true secret assassin due to her writing on the chalkboards during banishment.
Ellie also said the words “Secret Traitor” to Ross in a conversation away from the roundtable.
A repeated reference to book Who’s Who 1934 has also been a code which could implicate Harriett (who is hiding her work as a barrister), and police detective Amanda.
All looks set to be revealed next week – but with Claudia Winkleman and co always keeping us on our toes, we’ll have to tune in to find out.
