Everything you need to know about the fourth series of BBC’s The Traitors
The BBC has just announced when its hit game show The Traitors will return for a fourth season. The show sees a group of 22 people play as either Faithfuls or Traitors in pursuit of a cash prize of up to £120,000.
The first episode will air at 8pm on New Year’s Day (January 1, 2026) on BBC One, followed by Episode 2 at 8pm on January 2 and Episode 3 at 7.45pm on January 3. The episodes will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer after they are broadcast.
Companion show The Traitors: Uncloaked will start on BBC Two immediately after the main series on January 1, airing at 9.05pm. The show will then move over to BBC One for the remainder of the series from January 2 at 9pm onwards.
It comes hot on the heels of the UK’s very first celebrity spin-off, The Celebrity Traitors, in which comedian Alan Carr won the entire prize pot as a Traitor. He took home £87,500 which he donated to the charity Neuroblastoma UK.
The last civilian series to air in the UK was won by Faithfuls. Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley won the show and took home a cash prize of £94,600.
