Tips stolen from Rose and Crown pub in Lawrence Street.
North Yorkshire Police are investigating a burglary at a pub just outside York city centre on the run up to Christmas, which involved the suspect breaking in and stealing the staff tips.
It happened between the hours of 3.44am and 4.10am on Thursday, December 18, at the Rose and Crown pub in Lawrence Street.

“We are particularly interested in any information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or any CCTV footage of the area at the time of the burglary,” said a spokesperson for the force.
