Transport for Wales said it could not guarantee passengers would reach their destinations
The transport impact of Storm Claudia is set to continue for several more days. Transport for Wales has said that the rail line between Newport and Hereford will remain closed until at least Tuesday.
Only limited services will run beyond that point from Hereford to Shrewsbury. And the rail provider has warned that there is not going to be enough rail replacement transport services for all passengers.
It said it could not guarantee passengers would reach their destinations.

In the statement, Transport for Wales said: “The railway between Newport and Hereford remains closed until at least Tuesday, with limited rail services running between Hereford and Shrewsbury.
“Passengers are strongly advised to check before they travel, as disruption remains in place and services are subject to cancellations, delays and last-minute changes.
“We have been unable to source sufficient replacement road transport and cannot guarantee customers will be able to reach their destination.
“Many of our trains are not in their normal scheduled locations. Our teams are working to re-position trains across our network so services can start returning to normal schedule.
“Passengers with tickets dated 14, 15. 16 and 17 November can travel at no extra cost on Tuesday 18.
