Two arrested after overnight reports of business break-ins
Police said they received reports of the break-ins happening to businesses “in and around the outskirts of Bolton town centre.”
Following an investigation, they have now arrested two men on suspicion of four business burglaries.
One man, aged 39, was arrested in the early hours of this morning (December 2) following a chase by officers.
A 52-year-old man was also arrested this afternoon, and both remain in custody for questioning.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: “Overnight we received multiple reports of businesses being broken into in and around the outskirts of Bolton Town Centre.
“Following an investigation by the Bolton South Neighbourhood Team, two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of 4 business burglaries;
“A male aged 39 was arrested in the early hours of the morning following a chase by ERelief Response officers.
“A further male aged 52 has been arrested this afternoon.
“They both remain in custody for questioning.”
