Two men taken to hospital after assault in York city centre
It happened in Spurriergate at around 10.10pm on Saturday (November 15).
Both victims were taken to York Hospital by ambulance and received treatment for facial injuries, North Yorkshire Police has said.

A force spokesperson said: “The two male victims were walking along the street when they were attacked from behind by four to six unknown suspects.
“One of the victims was hit twice on the back of the head and once to the nose causing heavy bleeding.
“The second victim was dragged to the floor and punched and kicked in the head.”
