Wanted man brought to Bolton Crown Court after two years
Aaron Travers, 22, failed to appear before Bolton Crown Court in connection with drug supply offences all the way back in October, 2023, and has been a wanted man ever since.
He was finally tracked down by police to a block of flats in Trafford and was remanded into custody on Christmas Eve this year.
Detective Sergeant Gareth Bannister said “This arrest demonstrates our continued commitment to pursuing individuals who believe they can evade justice.
“Our officers have worked with determination and persistence over an extended period to ensure this individual was located and brought into custody.

“We will continue to use all available resources and intelligence to track down those who attempt to avoid the courts, and we remain steadfast in our dedication to protecting the public.
“Our teams will continue to work tirelessly to locate wanted offenders, disrupt criminal activity, and keep our communities safe.”
Travers, previously of Strawberry Road, Salford, was wanted for alleged breach of a court order and allegedly failing to keep to its conditions on October 13, 2023.
He was also wanted for failing to appear at Bolton Crown Court on October 24 that same year.
Travers was finally tracked down and arrested by officers from the Salford Intelligence Unit and the Salford Challenger Unit in December 2025.
He was brought before Bolton Crown Court on Christmas Eve, December 24, and remanded into custody at HMP Altcourse, meaning he will have spent Christmas and New Year’s on remand.
