The arrest was made following an altercation at the Glenbawn Park property
A man in West Belfast was arrested earlier today following a report of assault in the Glenbawn Park area. The report was received by police at around 12.30pm today , confirmed a PSNI spokesperson.
According to the report, two men had been involved in an altercation at the property with one man subsequently taken to hospital.
Officers attended and arrested a 29-year-old on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence. He remains in police custody at this time.
