With the generous support of businesses across the West Lothian and Falkirk region, there has been a significant donation of t-shirts, joggers, jackets, fleeces, jumpers, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, thermal socks and men’s underwear.
The Ancre Somme Association (ASA) Scotland Charity members have been working tirelessly in the past week to support the people of Ukraine.
With the generous support of businesses across the West Lothian and Falkirk region, there has been a significant donation of t-shirts, joggers, jackets, fleeces, jumpers, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, thermal socks and men’s underwear from the charity meaning volunteers have been able to purchase, collect, and deliver vital humanitarian supplies to those who need them most in Ukraine.
ASA Scotland Chairman, Councillor Harry Cartmill, said: “What is happening in Ukraine is horrendous with thousands of soldiers dying, losing limbs.

“Children and families are suffering but we will continue to do all we can to support and assist. However, we need support from businesses, organisations and individuals.
“Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are being injured by Russian kamikaze drones.
“Children have lost parents, families have been torn apart, and communities have been devastated.”
“The Ukrainian people urgently need our continued support.”
