The BBC series has pushed each contestant to their limit this year
It’s almost time for the highly-anticipated The Traitors final after four weeks of mind games and deception, but what time is it on, and who’s in it?
Claudia Winkleman returned to reprise her presenter role for the BBC series as she welcomed 22 new contestants to Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
With a prize fund of up to £120,000 up for grabs, the finalists will do what it takes to keep themselves in the game and avoid getting banished at the last roundtable.
It’s been an intense few weeks for the contestants, as the first three traitors Stephen, Rachel and Hugo learned that a secret traitor was hiding among the faithfuls.
Once Hugo was banished early on, the remaining traitors waited to meet their secret teammate, and it was Fiona who made her way up the turret. However, they struggled to see eye to eye with Fiona and Rachel having an explosive row in front of the other contestants.
This led to Fiona being banished at the roundtable, while Stephen and Rachel promised to have each other’s backs in order to stay in the game and take home the win.
There’s been a new set of twists this series, as some of the contestants know each other from outside of the series. Judy and Roxy were revealed to be mother and daughter, whereas Ross and Ellie are boyfriend and girlfriend.
What time is The Traitors final on?
Following the usual airing pattern of being on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week, the final will be available to watch on Friday (January 23) on BBC One and iPlayer.
However, unlike the previous episodes that have all aired at 8pm, the final has a later time at 8:30pm and will air for one-hour 15 minutes instead of its usual 60-minute time slot.
Once the winner (or winners) have been announced by Claudia Winkleman, viewers can stay on BBC One to watch The Traitors: Uncloaked at 9:45pm where Ed Gamble will interview the finalists.
Who is in The Traitors final?
As the 2026 series comes to its end, two of the original traitors Rachel and Stephen managed to fight their way through every roundtable as they secure a place in the final episode.
However, for Rachel and faithful James their place has not yet been confirmed as the Thursday’s (January 22) episode ended on a cliff hanger. After a roundtable discussion, the vote was a draw between both of them twice, meaning the decision has been left up to fate, and will not be revealed until the final.
Meanwhile, faithfuls Jade, Faraaz and Jack have made it into the final without the worry of leaving it up to fate to decide whether or not they’ll take the prize pot home.
If Rachel goes home, then it’s up to traitor Stephen to convince the other finalists to let him stay in the game where he could take home the full prize pot for himself.
