Who is Amber Davies’ actor boyfriend Ben Joyce?
LOVE ISLAND winner Amber Davies is gearing up for the semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing.
She will be battling out for a place in the grand final, supported by her boyfriend Ben Joyce who she says has been her “rock.”
Who is Amber Davies?
Amber is a 29-year-old actress, podcaster, and TV personality from North Wales.
She is most famous for winning Love Island 2017 with her then-boyfriend Kem Cetinay.
But she has also enjoyed a fruitful career starring in West End productions of 9 to 5: The Musical and Back to the Future: The Musical.
Additionally, the Love Island star is known for her popular podcast “Call To Stage”, which has 4.9/5 stars on Spotify and has featured interviews with Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Tom Francis and many more.
Amber was a late addition to this year’s Strictly, replacing Dani Dyer in late September after she suffered an ankle injury during a rehearsal that forced her to leave the show.
Partnering with Nikita Kuzmin, Amber has done incredibly well in the competition, recently earning survival over fan favourite Lewis Cope in the quarter finals dance off.
And now, she battles it out with the other four dance partners tomorrow to reach the grand final on Saturday, December 20.
Who is Amber Davies’ boyfriend Ben Joyce?
Ben, like Amber, is also an actor and West End star.
The pair met and started dating in 2022 while performing the stage adaptation of the hit 1985 film Back To The Future together.
While Amber portrayed Lorraine Baines McFly, Ben was the lead character Marty McFly.
Ben and Amber moved in together in 2024 and have grown their relationship, especially since Amber opted to go on Strictly.
After her quarter-final performance, Amber said: “We’ve gone from strength to strength. Obviously, it came on to him just as quickly as it came on to me.
“His life flipped upside down just as much as mine – he has been absolutely amazing.
“He’s gone above and beyond for me, and I couldn’t have done this experience without him.
“He is my complete rock. He’s a keeper and he’s from Swansea!”
