Wigan Road: Emergency services attend 3-car crash in Bolton
It happened on Wigan Road, close to the Beaumont Road junction, at around 3pm today.
A video seen by The Bolton News appears to show a car driving through a red light before colliding with another car.
One of the cars sustained heavy damage to the bonnet and passenger side, with debris scattered across the road.

A light-coloured car also had extensive damage to the passenger side doors and bonnet.
Another video shows a half-naked man appearing to run away from the scene wearing only a t-shirt and a pair of socks.
Police, paramedics and a fire engine were on the scene and there were traffic delays in the area.
It is unclear at this time whether there were any injuries or arrests made.
It comes just six days after a fatal crash on the same road.
The incident on Sunday, January 11 saw a grey Citroen C4 Picasso taxi and a red Seat Leon collide on Wigan Road.
Four men lost their lives following the crash – Blackburn taxi driver Masrob Ali, 54, and three Bolton teenagers – Mohammed Jibrael Mukhtar, 18, Farhan Patel, 18, and Mohammed Danyaal Asghar Ali, 19.
Another five people were left injured – the four passengers in the Citroen and one passenger in the Seat.
Fundraisers have since been launched to support Masrob Ali and his injured passengers.
Emergency services have been contacted for more details around today’s crash, and we will bring you updates as we get them.
