York Christmas market: Yorkshire Yuletide Village, Guildhall
The Yorkshire Yuletide Village, organised by Made in Yorkshire, is currently taking place behind the Mansion House at York’s Guildhall and will run until Friday (December 19).
The fair features work by designer-makers and artisans from Yorkshire offering one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts in a calmer setting away from the busy shopping streets.

The Yorkshire Yuletide Village offers an alternative Christmas shopping experience, with visitors able to enjoy the historic Guildhall as they meet the makers.
The event is free to enter and is open daily from 10am to 4.30pm.
