A major European link will return to Cardiff Airport next February as special flights are added for the Six Nations.

Cardiff Airport will offer a temporary link to Paris next year after Air France announced a series of special direct flights timed around two major February events – the Wales v France Six Nations clash and Valentine’s weekend.

The flights, running between Cardiff (CWL) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), will operate from 13–16 February 2026, providing an easy route for both rugby supporters and romantic weekend travellers. The link is expected to prove particularly popular with visiting French fans heading to Cardiff for one of the tournament’s most highly anticipated fixtures.

For Welsh travellers, the temporary service offers a convenient way to enjoy a Valentine’s break in the French capital, with easy access to the city’s landmarks, restaurants and nightlife.

The flights also allow passengers to tap into Air France’s wider global network for onward travel.

Cardiff Airport chief executive Jon Bridge said the new connection reflects growing passenger demand.
