Farage, who broke his electoral hoodoo to enter the House of Commons on July 4, leapt above Tory leader Kemi Badenoch in Labrokes’ latest political betting odds.
The Clacton MP saw his odds shorten to 5/2, with Badenoch’s odds holding firm at 3/1.
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and Health Secretary Wes Streeting ended up in a distant third and fourth, with former Prime Minister Boris Johnson taking up fifth spot on 14/1.

In a social media post, Ladbrokes Politics said: “And for the first time, Nigel Farage now heads the betting to become next Prime Minister.”
Despite returning just five MPs on July 4, the bookmaker also claimed more punters are putting faith in Reform UK to win the most number of seats in the next General Election.
“The money keeps coming for Reform UK to win the most seats at the next General Election,” Ladbrokes said. “They’re now into 9/4, having opened at 16/1.”
Farage’s odds shorten just after a Find Out Now opinion poll put Reform UK on 24 per cent, just two-points behind the Tories and one-point ahead of Labour.

Farage even informed Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who was briefly dipped to make a mega-donation to the populist party, about the importance of the 2025 Local Elections.
In a social media post to the Reform UK leader, Musk asked: “When is the first electoral opportunity?”
Farage replied: “The first step is the English County Council elections on May 1, 2025. Britain needs Reform.”
The exchange comes as Reform UK continues to concentrate of a deluge of defections ahead of May.
Farage last week unveiled ex-Tory MP Dame Andrea Jenkyns and conservative commentator Tim Montgomerie as new members of Reform UK.
The inclusion of former Conservative donor Nick Candy and Suella Braverman’s husband Rael have only bolstered the populist party’s ranks.
