Reform UK Chairman Zia Yusuf has made the extraordinary claim that Nigel Farage will become Prime Minister with “hundreds of MPs” in the next Government.
Speaking to GB News, Yusuf expressed confidence in Farage’s leadership, stating he would lead a Government with a “clear mandate to fix the problems the country has.”
The Reform UK chairman painted a picture of strong party unity behind Farage, contrasting it with what he described as the internal conflicts within the Conservative Party.
“Not only will Nigel become Prime Minister, he will become Prime Minister with hundreds of MPs who are under no uncertain terms as to why they’re being elected,” Yusuf told GB News.

Yusuf highlighted Farage’s strong support within Reform UK, claiming he is “almost universally popular” among party members.
“If you were Kemi Badenoch, you would give a limb to have the sort of support that Nigel has amongst our supporters,” he said.
The chairman criticised the Conservative Party’s internal divisions, stating: “We are not going to spend all of our time fighting amongst ourselves like the Tories.”
He pointed to Reform UK’s growing popularity in polls, where they are “now polling second in many polls across the country at all-time highs.”

According to Yusuf, this success stems from public trust in Farage, particularly on key issues like immigration.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
“People trust Nigel when it comes to crucial issues like immigration,” he told GB News.
Yusuf was also pressed on speculation about potential support from tech billionaire Elon Musk. When questioned about Musk’s possible financial backing, Yusuf described him as “the greatest entrepreneur of all time” and a “big advocate for free speech”.
“Elon is obsessed with ensuring that the values that we care deeply about, things like freedom of speech, for example, persist,” Yusuf added.
Asked if the suggestion that Musk would donate $100million is correct, he said: “Who knows what Elon might do in the future? I have not had any conversations myself with Elon Musk.

“Of course, Nigel has spoken with him, but that’s partly because Nigel is, in my view, the man who is closest to the incoming president of the United States. Elon Musk played a crucial role in getting him elected.”
Grilled by Camilla on how much Musk might donate, he said: “I can’t price that probability, because I have no idea. You’d have to ask him about that…he could not have been clearer on social media, very clearly he’s endorsed Nigel.
“He thinks a Reform Government is necessary to turn this country around and to save it. He has a huge soft spot for Britain, just like President Trump does.
“I wouldn’t be surprised, but to be clear, I’m not speculating at a donation. I’m not in touch with him about that. It would be inappropriate for me to do so…we would welcome a donation from him, but that’s up to him.”
