Netflix has released a new trailer for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event.

Paul and Tyson will meet in a heavyweight main event Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The card will stream on the popular platform, which will be at no additional cost to Netflix subscribers.

The matchup was initially slated for July before a medical emergency forced Tyson out of the bout. “Iron” elected to compete despite constant worry from the boxing community for the 58-year-old boxer who hasn’t competed in a pro boxing match in almost 20 years.

Paul did compete on the July 20 date, and faced BKFC star Mike Perry, picking up a sixth-round knockout win. The 27-year-old bounced back from his lone pro loss to Tommy Fury with four straight wins, including a decision win against former UFC star Nate Diaz in August 2023.

An injury-time winner from Sadio Mane secured Senegal’s qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) while Angola, DR Congo and Egypt have also reached the finals with two rounds of matches to spare.

The Teranga Lions were heading for a goalless draw away against Malawi before former Liverpool forward Mane, who now plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, struck in the 96th minute in Lilongwe.

Senegal move on to 10 points in Group L alongside Burkina Faso and have joined their fellow West Africans in booking a place at the 2025 Nations Cup in Morocco.

The 2021 Afcon winners progressed despite parting company with long-serving coach Aliou Cisse earlier this month.

There were surprises elsewhere on Tuesday as reigning continental champions Ivory Coast fell to a shock 1-0 loss away against Sierra Leone while Ghana are on the brink of elimination after defeat by Sudan.

The Black Stars remain third in Group F with just two points from four games, and qualification is now out of their hands.

The West Africans must now win their remaining games against Angola and Niger next month and hope that Sudan, who have seven points, lose both of theirs.

The final two rounds of qualifiers will be held next month while the 2025 Nations Cup is scheduled to begin on 21 December next year, with the final on 18 January 2026.

Brandon Royval and Tatsuro Taira gave MMA fans one of the best fights, if not the best fight, of 2024.

The two flyweights went back and forth in the main event of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 244 in Las Vegas. With many momentum swings, Royval (17-7 MMA, 7-3 UFC) ended up getting the better of Taira (16-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) over the course of 25 minutes, winning a split decision.

Donald Cerrone says he’s returning to the octagon to get to 50 fights under the UFC promotional umbrella.

“Cowboy” said in an Instagram post that he wants two more UFC fights to hit that nice round number after retiring following his sixth straight loss at UFC 276. In the bout, Cerrone was submitted by Jim Miller on the July 2022 International Fight Week card.

Cerrone is winless in the octagon since a May 2019 win over Al Iaquinta in the main event of UFC on ESPN+ 9, which at the time, extended a winning streak to three fights. Since then, he was stopped by the likes of Tony Ferguson, Justin Gaethje, Conor McGregor, Alex Morono, and dropped a decision to Anthony Pettis.

The 41-year-old fought for the UFC lightweight title in December 2015 where he was stopped in 66 seconds by Rafael dos Anjos.

“I 100 percent prepared for that. I was so scared and nervous coming into this fight because I knew that it was going to take it out of me. I nearly threw up back there after I came out the octagon, so I knew that Dan’s that type of guy. You could hit him 1,000 times with so many bombs, and he’s just going to keep coming forward. … He’s had a lot of experience and I knew that it was going to be a very tough fight. I’m just glad that I could get the job done, to be honest. He was super strong in there, but somehow I pulled it off again.”

“I’m exhausted. That was a f*cking back-and-forth battle. Like I said my last fight in the press conference when I was sitting up here: The moment I’m in a boring fight, Dana (White) can cut me, and I stand by that. Hopefully I can make some money in the process.”

“It’s the most active I think I’ve been ever in my MMA career, so it feels really good, actually, stringing them together like that. I guess now’s the time. Everyone has their time. I’ve had a few ups and downs and injuries and illnesses and people on the regional scene avoiding me and not fighting me. I’m not mentioning any names, but a lot of people didn’t want to fight me on the regional scene, and obviously (me being at the UFC level) is why. But the UFC, they want to push me and obviously I hope they like what they saw tonight, and hopefully I’ll be back in February. I hear there’s a card in Australia coming. I want to be on that one so I can bring all my fans from Australia. … A fight on Aussie soil? I’ll blow the roof off the place. I really will. That’s a dream, and hopefully they can book that for me.

“… I’m not the type of person to call people out. I feel like every bantamweight in the UFC, they’re here for a reason. They’re all great fighters. I don’t hate anyone. I’m not trying to pick out people. Just give us a name, I’ll most likely say yes, and it will be a banger on my behalf. I’ll bring a fight to anyone.”
