Every Word Mohamed Salah Said in Explosive 7 Minute Rant

Liverpool’s squad went through a massive overhaul during the summer transfer window, with many players signed and sold. However, there are still six players currently employed by the Anfield club who look like they may never pull on the red shirt again.

Arne Slot was given license – with the help of Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes – to put his stamp on the first-team squad at Liverpool after only making one signing in his first season.

The Dutchman took over from legendary boss Jurgen Klopp in 2024, and looks set to move on several of his predecessor’s favourites. Each of these six players have a limited time left as Liverpool players, unless there’s a dramatic U-turn in the coming weeks and months.

Mohamed Salah

The most high-profile name who could leave Liverpool in January is Mohamed Salah. Of course, it would take an enormous transfer fee and the idea of the Egyptian leaving just months ago would’ve been laughed at. However, his public fallout with Slot in December has cast doubt over his long-term future with the English club.

While his cameo against Brighton before departing for AFCON earlier in the month suggests there could be a reconciliation between player and manager, there has still been no definitive decision. Salah is the least likely player on this list to be heading for the exit, but his current absence has left fans in the dark.

Harvey Elliott

It looked like Harvey Elliott had played his final game for the Reds after sealing a loan move to Aston Villa in the summer transfer window. That deal even included an obligation to buy the player if he hit a certain number of appearances.

However, there have been talks of the English midfielder heading back to his parent club this winter, as Unai Emery doesn’t appear to see a future for him at Villa Park after consistently leaving him out of matchday squads. Even if that’s the case, Sot clearly doesn’t see him as a potential starter, and he would likely be moved on again.

Wataru Endo

Eyebrows were raised when Liverpool splashed £16 million on Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo in 2023. The Japan international was signed after the club missed out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, and was a player Jurgen Klopp loved.

Crazy Wataru Endo Stat From 24/25 Goes Viral After Liverpool Win the Premier League

Following Liverpool’s Premier League title win on the weekend, a crazy statistic of Wataru Endo’s 24/25 Premier League season has gone viral.

He’s not been used as frequently since the change in management, and looks to be behind Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones and even Trey Nyoni in the midfield pecking order. Currently sidelined with an injury that’ll keep him out until the new year, rumours have linked Endo with a move away from the English club.

Stefan Bajcetic

Big things were expected of Stefan Bajcetic when he burst onto the scene during Liverpool’s disappointing 2022-23 season under Klopp. The Spaniard used to be a centre-back, but proved he could hold his own as a central midfielder.

Loan moves to RB Salzburg and Las Palmas have prevented the youngster from playing under Slot so far, and that doesn’t look likely to change any time soon. When the new boss was first appointed, fans were excited to see more of the former Celta Vigo youth product. He has been out with a serious hamstring injury for a number of months now.

One of Salah’s closest friends at Anfield, Kostas Tsimikas, departed in the summer to join Italian giants Roma on a season-long loan. The Greek left-back had been a willing and reliable back-up to Andy Robertson ever since joining the club in 2021, but the arrival of Milos Kerkez knocked him further down the pecking order.

He did make 18 appearances in the Premier League last term, but was deemed surplus to requirements in the summer overhaul. At 29 years old, it’s hard to see a path back into Slot’s plans for the defender, even if he doesn’t sign for Roma permanently.
