Arsenal fans have turned on Kai Havertz after a horror miss during a disappointing defeat to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.
The Magpies have one foot in the final after a 2-0 win at the Emirates in the first leg of their semi-final tie after goals from Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon.
Mikel Arteta’s men were desperate for a goal to take to St. James’ Park next week but were found wanting.
And when Havertz missed a golden chance, it left hordes of fans furious.
Alexander Isak was in top form yet again as Arsenal lamented their missed chances

A deflected cross found the former Chelsea star alone in the box, giving him the relatively easy task of nodding into the net.
But he got his jump completely wrong and ended up missing the header entirely as the ball bumped off his shoulder and out of play.
Fans fumed on social media, with one saying: “Toothless and that Havertz chance sums us up, even in games we have the better chances Isak has been the difference. A proper goalscorer.
Another wrote: “This Havertz guy is an absolute donkey.
A third put: “That is horrendous from havertz. On a plate, on your head, uncontested, you’re 2-0 down and your striker gets the easier chance of the night and completely f***s it up.
“We don’t have any attackers capable of scoring we need it most.”
While this fan said: “Havertz miss an empty goal. Pathetic. That’s Arteta’s main signing. How did we get so boring…this is bad…really bad.”
And another posted: “That Havertz miss could be one of the worst I’ve ever seen. He needs to be sold…”
Newcastle have a tidy 2-0 lead to take back up north

Newcastle benefitted from having a clinical striker where Arsenal do not, as Isak put the visitors ahead with a fine strike after a long ball from goalkeeper Martin Dubravka fell at his feet.
It was the eighth match in a row that the Sweden international has scored in while Gordon went on to double the lead shortly after the break.
It was down to Isak, though, whose devilish shot was parried by David Raya into the former Everton star’s path.

Eddie Howe’s side are in hot form and this was their seventh win in a row in all competitions.
While nothing is guaranteed, they will take a healthy two-goal lead into the second leg while Arsenal look bereft of ideas going forward without Bukayo Saka.
The Gunners talisman is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury, giving Arteta a major headache moving forward.
