According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma directors have sounded out Lorenzo Lucca’s availability and are open to sending Artem Dovbyk to Napoli.
Roma and Napoli could soon sit down to discuss a possible swap deal between Dovbyk and Lucca.
According to Gazzetta, Roma directors have inquired about Lucca, who has been struggling to impress in his first six months at the Stadio Maradona.
The Giallorossi are looking for a new centre-forward and have also started talks with Atletico Madrid for Giacomo Raspadori and Manchester United for Joshua Zirkzee.
According to the report, Roma could offer Napoli a swap deal with Dovbyk as the Ukrainian forward is struggling to settle in under Gian Piero Gasperini, despite his recent goal against Lecce on Tuesday.
Lucca has scored two goals in 20 appearances across all competitions with Napoli this season, while Dovbyk has netted three times in 17 outings with Roma.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, will meet one of the club owners, Ryan Friedkin, today as the Italian pushes for attacking reinforcements.
