Boxing fans don’t think Tyson Fury has actually retired from the sport, despite the 36-year-old seemingly quitting on Monday.
The Briton was left furious last month after losing to Oleksandr Usyk for a second time, despite an improved showing at the Kingdom Arena.
Fury then announced on Monday that he wouldn’t be returning to the ring, with the heavyweight star saying: “Hi everybody, I’ll make this short and sweet, I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing.
“It’s been a blast and I’ve loved every single minute of it. I’m going to end with this, Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, I’ll see you on the other side.”

However, boxing fans aren’t convinced.
Fury has announced his retirement from boxing in the past – on four separate occasions – only to end up returning.
And fans on social media aren’t buying the Gypsy King’s comments, with many convinced he’ll put on his gloves once again.
“See you in 6 months lad,” were the words of one user, with that comment liked over 21,000 times at the time of writing.

Fury has achieved everything possible during the course of his professional boxing career.
Yet he appears to have retired from the sport on the back of his second consecutive defeat to Usyk, who won their bout via unanimous decision last month.
Fans would love to see a showdown between Fury and Anthony Joshua, with that clash in the works for a number of years.
But what happens next ultimately remains to be seen, with the saga far from over.
LATEST SPORTS NEWS:
Eddie Hearn, reacting to Fury’s decision to retire, has admitted he’s not 100 per cent sure the Briton means it.
“On the one hand it could mean, I’ve made a fortune, see you later, I’m off,” he said.
“On the other hand it could mean you feel like someone’s turned you over.
“There’s been no negotiations from our side. The only conversation we’ve had with Frank Warren and [Fury’s manager] Spencer Brown is when the time is right, let’s have a chat. That’s it.
