Brooklyn Beckham Wedding DJ Reveals ‘Truth’ About Victoria’s ‘Inappropriate’ Dancing
The DJ who played for Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, at their wedding, has revealed that the bride ran out crying when ‘the most beautiful woman in the room’, Victoria Beckham, took her first dance. Brooklyn has cut ties with the Beckham family and accused his parents of ‘controlling behaviour’.
Brooklyn released an explosive statement last week, claiming that his mother had embarrassed him at both his and Peltz’s wedding back in April 2022. He insisted he didn’t want to reconcile with David and Victoria Beckham and that the former Spice Girl “hijacked” his first dance with his wife.
The former model claimed that Victoria made him and his wife feel uncomfortable in front of 500 wedding guests. He alleged that she “danced very inappropriately” on her son, and DJ Fat Tony has now given a detailed account of the “awkward” incident.
Brooklyn’s Wedding DJ on ‘Awkward’ First Dance
DJ Fat Tony, whose real name is Tony Marnoch, recalled the wedding reception and the moment pop star Marc Anthony called for Victoria instead of Nicola. He ruled out suggestions that Posh Spice’s inappropriate dancing was of a sexual nature while speaking on ITV’s This Morning on Friday:
“There was no slutdropping, there was no black cat PVC catsuits, there was no Spice Girl action.”
The DJ revealed how the situation unfolded and that Peltz was left in tears: “The next minute, everyone was expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance,” but Anthony called for “the most beautiful woman in the room and said Victoria’s name instead of Nicola’s.”
Marnoch claimed that Peltz ran out of the room crying and Brooklyn was upset:
“Victoria is by the stage, she goes onto the stage, and of course at that point Brooklyn is suddenly, literally, devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife. Then Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out. Brooklyn is stuck there on stage.
He added: “And then they do this dance and Marc Anthony’s going, ‘Put your hands on your mother’s hips. It was a Latin thing. The whole situation was very awkward for everyone in the room.”
Brooklyn and DJ Fat Tony’s claims differ from reports, which explain that the first dance between the bride and groom took place earlier, before Anthony’s performance. Fashion magazine British Vogue was at the wedding and gave a detailed account of the ceremony, explaining that Anthony’s appearance was at 11 pm and that Brooklyn was the one who “invited his mother on stage for a dance.”
Former Manchester United footballer David and his wife Victoria have yet to respond to their son’s accusations. He has blocked and unfollowed them and his siblings on social media, and his father refused to comment on the situation during an appearance in Switzerland on Tuesday.
‘Devastated’ – Wedding DJ on ‘The Most Awkward Part
There have since been memes and mock-ups of Victoria dancing with Brooklyn created by social media users to poke fun at the ordeal that the DJ claims left the newlyweds “devastated.” But it wasn’t the most uncomfortable part of the wedding as this came the following day during brunch.
Discussions between guests about the events that unfolded were the “most awkward part of it all,” he backed Brooklyn’s stance over his wedding night:
“This is all about how Brooklyn feels. If he feels that it was inappropriate and awkward, it was inappropriate and awkward.”
Marnoch claims to have DJ’d for many Beckham parties in the past and described them as a “close-knit family” who “love to dance.” He is saddened that the first dance has been a main focus of Brooklyn’s statement about his broken relationship with the Beckham family.
Brooklyn Joseph Peltz Beckham, 26, is the oldest of David and Victoria’s four children and currently resides in LA with his wife Nicola. She is the daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and former supermodel Claudia Heffner Peltz.
