Bruno Fernandes overtakes Paul Scholes in Premier League assists chart

Our captain was credited with the assists for both of our goals, with Joshua Zirkzee converting from a narrow angle, after being played in via Bruno’s lofted pass, and Mason Mount ramming home our no.8’s quickly taken free-kick.

Bruno is now the Premier League’s leading assist source this season, having teed up his team-mates five times.

Each assist has arrived on the road, for a different player, with Harry Maguire (v Liverpool), Casemiro (v Nottingham Forest) and Matthijs de Ligt (v Tottenham Hotspur) also benefitting.
