According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Federico Chiesa is not pushing to leave Liverpool, but is fascinated by a possible return to Juventus, which he reluctantly left in 2024.
Italy winger Chiesa has emerged as a possible attacking reinforcement for Juventus, and according to Gazzetta, the Liverpool winger is open to returning to Turin this month.
Chiesa, however, is not pushing to leave Liverpool, where he’s not a regular starter, but is still getting more playing time than in the previous campaign.
Chiesa was pushed out of Juventus in 2024, joining Liverpool on deadline day. Back then, Cristiano Giuntoli was the Bianconeri’s sporting director and Thiago Motta was the coach.
Now, things have changed at Juventus, where Chiesa would reunite with ex-Italy coach Luciano Spalletti and director Giorgio Chiellini, with whom Chiesa won the Euros in 2021. Chiesa is not the only attacking target at the Allianz Stadium, and the Bianconeri are considering a loan deal.
As of today, Liverpool appear reluctant to loan Chiesa out for six months, but the winger’s future at Anfield has not been determined yet and will probably also depend on whether Mohamed Salah stays at the club.
