Fiorentina will look to Roberto Piccoli and Edin Dzeko up front as they visit Lausanne-Sport in the final round of the league phase of the Conference League.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00) GMT in Lausanne.
A win will be enough for the Tuscans to qualify for the Round of 16, but the situation in Florence is far from ideal as the team sit at the bottom of the Serie A table, eight points below safety.
The Tuscans are winless in league games, but have collected three victories in the Conference League and currently sit 11th with nine points in five matches.
According to several sources in Italy, including Sky Sport, Fiorentina coach Paolo Vanoli will rest David De Gea this evening, picking Tommaso Martinelli in goal. Jacopo Fazzini and Robin Gosens, and Tariq Lamptey are injured, while Cher Ndour is serving a one-game ban. Piccoli and Dzeko will start up front with Moise Kean and Albert Gudmundsson on the bench. Following today’s cup game, Fiorentina will host Udinese on Sunday in the next Serie A round.
The match will be televised on TNT Sports 6 in the UK and Ireland and on Paramount+ in the USA.
Lausanne-Sport (4-3-1-2): Letica; Soppy, Mouanga, Sow, Poaty; Sigua, Roche, Custodio; Lekoueiry; Bair, Kana-Biyik.
Fiorentina (3-5-2): Martinelli; Pongracic, Marì, Viti; Dodô, Richardson, Fagioli, Mandragora, Parisi; Dzeko, Piccoli.
