Conor Bradley Spotted on Crutches and in Knee Brace After Arsenal vs Liverpool
Liverpool defender Conor Bradley has been spotted on crutches and in a knee brace, with the Merseyside club preparing for a potentially long lay-off.
Bradley suffered what appeared to be a knee issue late in the game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The Northern Irish defender went down almost unchallenged, with Gabriel Martinelli in close proximity, and the Liverpool right-back looked in severe pain very quickly.
With Mohamed Salah at AFCON, Jeremie Frimpong has been tasked with playing more of an attacking role in the Liverpool side, with Bradley just behind him at right-back. Arne Slot might have to reshuffle the pack once again, with another of his players suffering an injury, and there’s a chance it could be a long lay-off.
Liverpool Star Suffers Potentially Serious Injury
Liverpool defender Bradley was spotted by The Athletic journalist Pearce leaving the Emirates Stadium on crutches, with his knee in a brace after being stretchered off against Arsenal.
Another Merseyside reporter, Paul Gorst, also saw the Liverpool defender, suggesting that the Reds are braced for a ‘potentially long lay-off’ for the young right-back.
Liverpool won’t be able to tell how serious the Bradley injury is so soon after the game, but the early signs certainly aren’t good. The 22-year-old will likely be sent for scans over the coming days to discover the severity, but it’s already looking like a crucial blow for the Reds.

Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement to sign promising Senegalese defender Mor Ndiaye.
Liverpool May Have to Dip Into Market
With Bradley potentially on the treatment table, Liverpool might have to dip into the market during the January transfer window to find a replacement. Slot has used a host of different options at right-back so far this season, including Joe Gomes, Bradley, Frimpong, and Dominik Szoboszlai.
With his options dwindling, the Reds might look to add another right-back, particularly if Frimpong is going to be utilised in more of an advanced position this season. Liverpool’s squad is already looking thin due to AFCON and their current injury situation, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see business ramp up in the coming days.
