    I can't believe no-one has mentioned this but your GUT HEALTH!!!!! Alot of people are skinny fat (myself included) but also have poor gut health. If you take care of your gut I can promise a flatter stomach along with being in a calorie defcit.

    Even when I was rail thin, I always had a pooch.
    I thought it was because of my fibroids, but even after removal of those, I still have a belly. I've just recently added weights to my workout, curious to see if it works.

    if lifting my 8 pound weights frequently makes my small skinny fat belly go away, you have healed my almost 3 years of being insecure and depressed

    What’s strange is skinny fat looks most attractive to me the person has some fat while still being skinny it’s best of both worlds

    If you keep doing cardio, eventually you'll burn off the fat, cause there's nothing else to burn.

    As a skinny fat (kind of chubby) I struggle a lot to gain muscle mass. But i am not consistent thats why i have to start again and again

    My arms are really thin, my legs are chicken legs but my belly is like 6 months pregnant to thr point that i had a hernia , i don't even drink . I am about to burst into tears

    from personal experience as a skinny-fat woman: I was overweight, then I got thinner by treadmilling 1 or 2 miles a day for months, and then I noticed I didn't have any figure once I became thin– I was actually sort of T-shaped like a block with shoulders. (5"2 130 lbs) I went to a physical therapist for the knee pain the treadmilling started causing me and he had me do squats to strengthen the muscles that support my knees. well, not only did the squats get rid of my knee pain when I walk but it also snatched my waist and gave me a butt and hips 🙂 so yeah, I highly suggest squats for women who are dealing with being skinny-fat (and of course eat plenty of protein). start slow, start with a couple of squats and work your way up to about 30. squats are great because you don't need to buy anything or go anywhere specific to do them

    a skinny fat person needs to do only 2 steps : cardio to burn fat and physical training plus diet high in protein ,low in sugar and fat to build muscles . and yeah here we go we lost fat and we toned the body with muscles ,keep in mind this will be a long process, so be patient and strong , considering that to lose 1 kg of fat you need to sacrifice 7,700 kcal, let's say you wanted to lose 1 kg in a week ,you gotta eat 100 kcal per day , i'm talking about people who have their daily need of cal around 1200 so we mutiply that to 7 days of the week we get 8400 this number of supposedly our daily need of cal for the whole week and then we subtract 700 kcal that we ate for the whole week ,we found that we scarificed exactly 7,700 kcal and here we lose weight pretty fast . focus on losing weight first and then tone the body with different diet that involves protein and workout of course 2 strong combo for building muscles. (some here will say 100 cal per day is literally starvation and there's some other ways , and you gonna tell me that there's people who show that they lost 3 kg in just 3 or 4 days , guys what i talking about is very realistic we as fat skinny people probably most of us have slow metabolism and high body fat plus since we are skinny fat our tdee is not gonna be that high so around 1200 per day which makes it hard for us to lose weight)

    I'm literally all skin and bones except for my stomach, it's like one or two sizes bigger than my arms and legs so a lot of pants don't fit because my 'regular' size is suffocating me and a bigger size will fall of my hips -_-

    I've been skinny fat in 2022 then grew muscle and bulked a bit and now I cut and I'm skinny again, or at least when I wear clothes. People my entire life have been talking trash about me despite me starting the gym in 2022, I maintained my own weight and I just don't look big in clothes and it's so frustrating, currently with my situation in my family that buys trash processed foods (I decided to stop eating as they give acne, skinny fat, etc) it's better to just be lean muscular looking skinny in a shirt than being skinny fat.

    So many people judge for being skinny and now that I'll be moving for college in my own apartment I'll bulk. I hate being called skinny despite me helping my mom carry 50kg sandbags to her friends house, then the old lady says " Look how skinny he is " despite me carrying such stuff without any crazy effort. It sucks when people judge immediately not knowing you lift weights and rather eat low calorie and organic, rather than the processed food my family provided always, and despite me having an insane body transformation.

    When ppl make such nasty comments about anyone, it's really demotivating and makes you wanna quit the gym or eating healthy all over. It's like working hard on something with all your might, and them seeing it right in front of your face, and instead of being like " you are strong " they just mention negative things about your appearence. (I trim my nails, wear watches, make sure my hair isn't frizzy, cleanse my face, get the right outfits, groom, etc.) I make sure i'm always beyond presentable and well groomed.

    just wanted to explain that nobody should judge or make comments about anybody on their weight, even if you lift or take care of yourself we all have situations others might not know about like not being able to eat enough because family is unhealthy and wanted to force those garbage habits on you.

    OMG dude these comments… my waist is small but belly is so big. Literal tires there… it's so sad. 2 years ago I was 64kg, but with a diet and exercise I'm now 54kg. But that belly fat is not going off. My dad tells me I look too slim. But that's just BS. It's so sad. I don't understand. Plus I'm too young for the gym what the hell? It's definitely a curse. I'm so careful with my food, I'm so healthy. I only eat natural sugar in fruits. I even eat much less carbs. I don't know what I ate to have so much belly fat. It's so unfair.

    I’m skinny fat and I hate it.. I have love handles mean while my arms , legs , stay skinny . I hate how out of shape I look.. after doing some research the best approach is to lose a lot of unnecessary weight since you can’t spot reduce . I was currently weighing 188 lbs .. I’m down to 180 lbs after being on low carb and man I feel different and my clothes is fitting better. My goal is to get down to 175 lbs and build muscle 💪🏼.. following my macros and being disciplined.. It’s my best bet ..

    Been skinny fat for a few years now, tried just healthier eating habits to try to offset the fat, didnt help, time to hit weights now apparently

    I have 40% body fat. If all that bodyfat would be removed i would be the next bodybuilder somehow i have abs and strong chest and im kinda skinny and idk how to lose fat i tried everything any tips

    Im 135 lbs and 5'8 and im skinny fat. Ive been dieting and nothing has changed with my belly fat for years. It's pretty much confirmed to me that I have to bulk and eat a lot of protein and lift weights to lose belly fat and then cut afterwards. Pushups wont be enough, i need to lift weights

    I weigh 90kg's My height is 1,73 cm by european standards and By US standards that would be 5.7 feet. I have checked that I would need to lose 16 kg's to get to a normal weight. I'm a man. I have belly fat overall my body is pretty skinny.
