    Why does "pasta" equal "junk?"

    There's an organic red lentil pasta at Trader Joe's that has 13 grams of protein in every serving.

    Is that "junk," too?

    3 big sausage patties cooked in lard, 5 eggs cooked in butter, glass of whole milk, big handful of walnuts and pecans for my supper tonight. I feel like superman and it's barely been a month.

    How can I cut all carbs like in the morning I eat some bread with any thing I choose to eat like cheese or peanut butter or some kufta with tomatoes so how u can eat those kind of food with out bread it’s very hard

    The work i do burns like 3 to 4k calories a day just with work and the soda and junk is the only thing kept me from having 6 pack but same time if i didnt i wouldnt have enough energy to make it through my day

    Keto is indeed great but not something I could keep doing for the rest of my life. Now I just eat healthy 95% of the time and cheat once in a while. Works way better than all or nothing.

    I’ll disagree on one of those food items…pasta isn’t necessarily a junk food. High in carbs, yes, but timed correctly can positively effect weight loss.

    I gotta do keto. It keeps my T2 under control. I went from 6.9 percent to 4.4 percent without meds and I lost 50 pounds almost all fat.

    Are you actually asking me how much minced meat I can stuff down my throat before I'm done because I have 17 different meatball recipes and only 4 of them really need breadcrumb to work.

    I would contend that keto also increases the amount of calories you will burn in a day. If we were to assume that your lifestyle remained the same after going keto, the "energy requirement" for operating your body would likewise stay the same as well, but your body would breathe out and pee out ketones through the lungs and kidneys respectively while in deep ketosis. This "excreted energy" would cause your body to tap into fat stores even further than it would on a non-keto diet, leading to a higher "Total Daily Energy Expenditure".

    Issue is portion control, pizza is delicious….. Don’t eat the whole fucking pizza and don’t eat pizza 8 times a month. Making reasonable decisions and portion control go a long ass way

    This also explains the popularity/success of the gluten free diet. Whether or not it’s medically indicated l, the avoidance of wheat flour eliminates a lot of junk calories.
