The Reds are set to be without Bruno Fernandes once again, after our captain missed the Boxing Day win over Newcastle following his withdrawal at half-time against Aston Villa.

Fellow midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has also missed the last two games through injury, while Ruben Amorim said Mason Mount “felt something” which led to his withdrawal at the break against the Magpies.

It remains to be seen if either will be involved against Wolves, along with defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire who have also been absent lately.
However, there will definitely be no Amad, Bryan Mbeumo or Noussair Mazraoui as they continue to represent their countries at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Meanwhile, Wolves will be without Brazilian midfielder Andre, who will serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Liverpool last time out.

Teenage forward Mateus Mane could keep his place after the 18-year-old impressed on his full debut at Anfield.

Rodrigo Gomes has recently undergone surgery to fix an issue on his groin, and is therefore expected to play no part in M16.
