How to watch and follow Man Utd Women v Burnley in the FA Cup | Sunday 18 January 2026
OPPOSITION WATCH
Burnley are a relatively new opponent for our women’s side, who we have faced just once before, at the same stage of this competition back in 2020/21.
That ended in a 6-0 victory for the Reds, but Skinner’s side are to expect a much sterner test this weekend, with the Clarets having moved to become a full-time, professional outfit at the start of this season with designs on rising through the leagues.
To that end, they are currently unbeaten in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division, the third tier of the English pyramid, with 10 wins and two draws out of their first 12.
The Lancashire outfit have beat Peterborough United, Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City to reach this round, scoring 23 goals across the three ties and conceding none, but the Reds will undoubtedly pose the biggest challenge so far.
