How to watch and follow Wolfsburg v United Women | 19 November
LATEST TEAM NEWS
After having to manage most of his players’ minutes against City at the weekend, Skinner was asked who could feature against Wolfsburg in his post-match press conference.
“Phallon [Tullis-Joyce] took a knock to the face [against Aston Villa], so we’re just assessing. She wasn’t ready for today,” Marc began.
“We’re going through some specialists at the minute. She should be fine. It’s just obviously trying to make sure we don’t get another knock in that area.
“She could be potentially back for Wolfsburg but we’re just taking it day by day right now. But it shouldn’t be too long [before she’s back], to be honest.”
“I think that was just the way Jayde [Riviere] was walking off the pitch, she was just tired,” he added. “She is tired as she is a high explosive player, so she tires.”
“Ella got a scrape down her achilles, she was fine as I just needed to change that game. Simi [Awujo] is a clash of heads and she has a golf ball there. There is no concussion there.
“They are all okay and hopefully they will be okay going into the game on Wednesday.”
