Jake Paul has teased a “big announcement” coming in January regarding his next move in boxing, following his recent victory over Mike Tyson.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer took to Twitter with the cryptic message: “Big announcement in January. Boxing.”
Paul’s latest fight saw him defeat Tyson via unanimous decision in an eight-round professional bout last month.
The ‘Problem Child’ later revealed he had held back during the match, telling his podcast: “After I’d seen him a little bit tired, I didn’t want to put too much hurt on him.

“But I wanted the fans to get a good experience.”
Speculation about Paul’s next opponent intensified after his promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), posted a hypothetical question about a potential matchup.
The company asked followers: “If Jake Paul vs KSI at 185lbs can only happen when Jake Paul receives $100M… Who wins at that weight?”
The social media post sparked immediate excitement among boxing fans.
“I have a feeling something is going on behind the scenes… there’s a lot of smoke around this fight and usually when there’s smoke there is fire,” one fan commented.
Others debated the proposed weight class, with one supporter noting: “190 is the most fair weight for both men.”
This potential matchup has a complicated history, with previous talks for a Wembley Stadium bout falling through last year.
Paul opted out of those discussions following his defeat to Tommy Fury, choosing instead to fight Nate Diaz.
KSI’s manager, Mams Taylor, recently told The Sun they had proposed a weight compromise to make the fight happen.

“Obviously the Jake fight is something we’ve wanted and there was talk of a coin toss,” Taylor said. “But the weights have to be fair. If you want 192lb on one side, then we want 183lb on the other side. If you want 190, we’ll take 185.”
Paul and KSI’s history includes Paul’s amateur victory over KSI’s brother Deji in 2018.
MVP added further intrigue with a follow-up post quoting Jake Paul’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian.

“It’s 100% Jake’s decision on who he fights, at what weight, and when,” Bidarian stated.
Despite the mounting speculation, no fight has been officially confirmed at this stage.
The announcement could potentially involve other developments, with some suggesting Paul might be signing a new fighter to his MVP brand.
Boxing fans will need to wait until January for clarity on Paul’s next move in the sport.
